Online Learning College is excited to announce an opening for a Functional Skills Author to join our collaborative and innovative team. The successful candidate will develop high-quality learning materials that support our learners' development in essential functional skills - Mathematics and English.

Responsibilities

Primary Accountabilities:

• Develop and write high-quality functional skills materials in line with curriculum standards.
• Create engaging content, including activities and lessons.
• Ensure all materials are accessible and inclusive for all learners.

• Strong educational background with expertise in functional skills education.

• Demonstrated experience in writing and developing educational content.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Ability to create engaging and interactive learning resources.
• Familiarity with online learning platforms and digital content creation tools.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team setting.
