The A.C. Coy company has an immediate opening for an Assistant Controller. Ideal candidates will have been in a senior accountant role for a minimum of 5 years and have experience with multi-state sales tax. 

Responsibilities

Primary Accountabilities:

• Oversee revenue recognition
• Support accounts payable and receivable
• Manage physical inventory valuation and reconciliations
• Assist with cash processing
• Maintain fixed asset records
• Maintain all documentation required for sales tax processes
• Support month-end close
• Prepare and enter journal entries

Qualifications

We're looking for someone with:

Education Required

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

Experience Required

• 5+ years of experience in a senior accountant role
• Advanced proficiency in Excel
• Ability to prioritize and manage deadlines
• Experience using Sage 300 preferred
