The Talent Partnerships & Events Analyst will help develop and execute our Talent Partnerships strategy across all business units and functional groups. Â
The Talent Partnerships & Events team works to develop partnerships that drive enterprise business needs by enabling recruitment of external candidates for critical talent segments with a wide variety of experiences and skillsets, creating engagement opportunities for existing colleagues and brand building. This role is a great opportunity to evolve our existing strategy by deploying best-in-class engagements and events for prospective candidates and existing colleagues and implementing measures to gauge their success.Â
- Responsible for supporting the strategic planning, coordination, and execution of marketing campaigns, conferences, and proprietary American Express recruiting events through talent partnerships
- Support development of strategy to engage a robust portfolio of partners that help team deliver on its objectives to amplify our brand, retention, and recruitment efforts across the colleague lifecycle (Campus, Experienced, Executive)
- Responsible for building and day to day management of partner relationships, ensuring we are maximizing relationships and delivering on objectives
- Provide live and virtual event execution support (in conjunction with colleagues and vendor provided support, as applicable) including activation design and logistics, programming design, delegation/brand ambassador scheduling & training, etc.
- Collaborate with Recruitment Marketing and Brand teams to continually evaluate external employer brand strength and work to build, enhance, and leverage brand to drive brand relevance and enterprise objectives
- Help define partnership objectives, and manage day-today-operations, in partnership with key stakeholders including business leaders, Colleague Strategic Partners, Talent Acquisition, etc.
- Help identify and evaluate new external partnerships and opportunities that could help serve the enterprise and address gaps in portfolio
- Collaborate with Recruitment team to develop best-in-class operating model that will help drive the expansion of our talent pipeline and talent pool from partnerships and events
- Maintain a lens on experiential and recruitment marketing trends and initiatives to help position American Express for future opportunitiesÂ
Minimum Qualification
- Experience in program and project management, leading marketing programs and initiatives
- Experience in event planning and designing end-to-end brand experiences
- Demonstrated proficiency in the event landscape, awareness of current trends, vendors and best practices for delivering events and experiencesÂ
- Experience managing external partnership relationshipsÂ
- Strong collaborator, influencer, and team player with a demonstrated ability to build mutually beneficial relationships across a diverse set of stakeholders and deliver complex partnership opportunitiesÂ
- Strong, solutions focused, strategic thinker who can translate market trends, partner priorities and internal focus areas into actionable strategic roadmaps
- Demonstrated proficiency in developing marketing and communications strategyÂ
- Clear concise written and verbal communication skillsÂ
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skillsÂ
- Travel requirement for this role: 50%Â
Preferred Qualification
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite Programs
- Previous agency experienceÂ
- Prior experience with marketing programs and events Â
Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
