About the role
As the executive assistant to the CFO, this role requires an exceptionally organized, adaptable, and proactive professional dedicated to managing the comprehensive agenda and overseeing the operations of the Finance & Operations function.
The ideal candidate will possess a proven ability to manage complex scheduling, implement business strategies, work on special projects, and resolve issues efficiently.
You will be well-embedded within the group and play a critical role in ensuring their organizational effectiveness, including the maintenance and enhancement of current processes and operations, and roll-out of new initiatives.
- Manage the professional schedule and correspondence for internal and external engagements, and acting as a point of contact and liaison for the CFO with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Oversee the operations of the Finance & Operations function. This includes owning specific initiatives, managing communications, systems management and maintenance, and cross division coordination as necessary.
- Lead and support initiatives, and facilitating action items and ensure execution on behalf of the Finance & Operations function. This includes:
- Creating and maintaining reports, systems, and processes to streamline operations by identifying inefficiencies and proposing improvements.
- Support the roll-out, maintenance, and enhancement of the ERP.
- Own all insurance and contracting functions, working closely with General Counsel and third-party advisors.
- Exceptional organization, time management, and multitasking skills;Â
- Bias for action and strong attention to details;
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with business goals;Â
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with ability to draft professional emails and documents;
- Positive and driven attitude, with willingness to learn and improve processes;
- Ability to read and analyze profit and loss and balance sheet statements is required; andÂ
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage stakeholder relationships effectively. Â
