We are looking for a dynamic Engineering Director specializing in ServiceNow to join the Global Risk & Compliance Technology (GRCT) organization. The GRCT team crafts, develops, and supports critical components and platforms for new products being launched to support and improve our industry-leading credit and fraud risk practices and deliver on our platform vision. You will own the workload and priority of the Engineering teams as well as relationships with product owners, business teams, and third-party product vendors.

Responsibilities:
Primary Accountabilities:
- Provide hands-on engineering leadership to the team for implementing and operationalizing ServiceNow Integrated Risk Management (IRM) platform.
- Define the architecture and infrastructure for ServiceNow platform.
- Implement and Integrate the platform with American Expressâ internal capabilities.
- Coordinate and collaborate with multi-functional teams (authentication, infrastructure, data, etc) for operational aspects of ServiceNow.
- Establish upstream and downstream integrations using ServiceNow Integration Hub.
- Platform support, maintain observability metrics, resiliency and business continuity.
- Data management, storage and data protection.
- Define release cycles, CI/CD approach and governance routines for the platform and oversee ongoing continuous deployment.
- All stages of the software delivery life cycle for the ServiceNow platform.
- Collaborate with business, product, and technology partners to solution complex technology and functional needs of the IRM platform.
- Stay ahead of the vendor releases and take the ServiceNow IRM platform through patching and upgrade cycles.
- Influence the product roadmap of ServiceNow to enable important platform level features.
- Mentor, Coach, and Inspire engineers.
- Advocate for ServiceNow standard process to American Express partners.

Required:
- Bachelorâs degree or equivalent experience in computer science, or a related field - advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of technology leadership in a highly regulated environment.
- Significant experience of delivery of complicated Governance, Risk and Compliance platforms.
- Experience with ServiceNow IRM offerings.
- Familiarity with AuditBoard.
- Excellent knowledge of Common Service Data Model (CSDM 4.0) and ServiceNow Configuration Management Database (CMDB) structure.

Salary Range: $170,000.00 to $255,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
