- 4-month contract â could be full-time or on-call depending on the clientâs needs.
- Hourly Rate: $4-5/hour, depending on experience.
- Selected full-time candidates (8 hours per day) and on-call candidates (4 hours per day) may work beyond this duration depending on the clientâs requirements.
We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional support to our customers by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive customer experience. Success in this role requires strong communication skills, empathy, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries through email, phone, and chat.
- Assist customers with product information, order status updates, and general inquiries.
- Resolve customer complaints and issues with empathy, professionalism, and efficiency.
- Process returns, exchanges, and refunds in line with company policies.
- Document customer interactions and escalate complex issues to the appropriate departments when necessary.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of Simple Modernâs products and stay up-to-date with new releases.
- Collaborate with team members to identify areas for improvement in customer service processes.
- Contribute to a positive team environment by participating in team meetings and sharing customer feedback.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in e-commerce or retail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capability to handle challenging situations with patience and tact.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with customer service software and tools (e.g., Zendesk, Freshdesk).
