The GCS Products organization leads product management and development for a full suite of small business card, corporate and B2B solutions, and digital experiences that support our commercial customers.Â
The Budget Coordinator, GCS Products will report directly to the VP, Chief of Staff and will support the full Products leadership team and organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading management of the Products teamâs marketing and operational expense budgets, as well as key project management/operational functions, regular reporting up to the EVP level, and ad hoc data analyses.
How will you make an impact in this role?
- Oversee end-to-end budget management and coordination across operational expenses and marketing budget for full Products organization in close partnership with chiefs of staff across the team, finance, Opex Center of Excellence team, including:
- Developing and project managing robust governance and tracking processes and leading ad hoc analyses as budget SME
- Driving alignment with finance via Risks and Opportunities process monthly
- Reviewing and analyzing regular reporting that tracks spend vs. budgets to VPA and EVP of Products organization
- Managing ongoing funding requests and givebacks, making recommendations in partnership with teamsâ chiefs of staff
- Leading year-end accrual process for operational and marketing expenses
- Developing and project managing robust governance and tracking processes and leading ad hoc analyses as budget SME
- Lead project management for all recurring executive office processes supporting streamlined budget management e.g. organizational chart update and reviews
- Define and implement strategies to drive process improvements and insights in partnership with Products organization chiefs of staff and Senior Manager, Strategic Planning
- Partner to support Products chiefs of staff on all budget management processes, ensuring streamlined governance and reporting Â
Minimum Qualifications
- Strong project management skills; ability to handle multiple requests and prioritize accordingly
- Highly motivated individual with excellent collaboration and communication skills
- Superior analytical skills â able to analyze/understand large data sets, synthesize and draw out relevant insights
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy with a strong sense of responsibility and accountability
- Aptitude with Excel â e.g. formulas, pivot tables, macros
- Strong sense of integrity with ability to handle sensitive issues/budget nuances and maintain complete confidentiality
- Builds and maintains strong relationships across partner teams and demonstrates high emotional intelligence
Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
