In this role, you will process prior authorization requests, verify insurance coverage, and collaborate with healthcare providers and insurance companies to ensure timely approvals. ? Position: Remote Prior Authorization Specialist ? Pay: $17/hr. Full-time with Weekly Pay plus Benefits ? Schedule: 8am-8pm CST. M-Fri (8hr Shift between these hours) ? Equipment Provided ? MUST RESIDE IN EITHER ONE OF THESE US STATES (AZ,KY,UT,TX,GA or FL) FOR CONSIDERATION ? Start Date: November 2024 Job Duties ? Submit and track prior authorization requests via Inbound and outbound calls. ? Verify patients medical insurance eligibility and coverage. ? Communicate with providers and insurers regarding patients to ensure compliance. ? Maintain accurate records of approvals and denials. Qualifications: MUST HAVE AT LEAST 1 YEAR OR MORE OF MEDICAL BENEFITS EXPERIENCE (NO EXCEPTIONS) ? Call center experience preferred but not required ? Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance policies ? Experience in healthcare or insurance is preferred ? Strong organizational and multitasking skills ?
