Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and strategic Chief of Staff to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the uConnect Executive Leadership Team (ELT). The Chief of Staff will be responsible for driving forward progress on cross-functional initiatives that support company goals, identifying and managing administrative frictions that impede the ELT, and improving the efficacy of meetings, processes, and tools the ELT uses for collaboration. This part time role will partner closely with the CEO to support the ELT, and requires exceptional project management skills, interpersonal abilities, and business acumen. The ideal candidate has worked with executive leadership of startups and high growth companies previously, and has a track record of successfully influencing executives to better outcomes through their work.
- Optimize Executive Team Functionality: Identify and drive key initiatives that improve workflows, eliminate roadblocks, and enhance collaboration to maximize ELT productivity.
- Drive Strategic Priorities: Partner with the CEO and ELT to develop actionable plans and drive accountability across the organization to achieve company goals.
- Support Executive Collaboration: Manage communication, scheduling, and planning of key ELT meetings, including quarterly offsites, the annual company meeting, board meetings, and other strategic meetings that support executive collaboration and decision making.Â
- Manage Key Projects: Provide support to the CEO and Executive Team with special projects, initiatives, and tasks as needed.
- Experience working in operations, strategy, or administrative roles adjacent to or on an executive team, preferably in a high-growth SaaS environment.
- Senior presence -- can convey complex information to executives clearly and concisely; can resolve business tradeoffs. Effective communicator across levels and audiences.
- First principles problem solver -- dimensionalizes problems, demonstrates history of lateral thinking and iterative, analytical improvements
