Posted 2025-06-13Looking for a skilled Book Online Product Specialist! This Remote position offers an immediate start for the right candidate. You'll leverage your skills in Product management experience to succeed. You can expect a salary of $60k - $80k per Year for this role.
The Opportunity:
The Product Specialist is responsible for overseeing the Smith&Smith Book Online application, ensuring optimal performance and usability. They work with the Head of IT and Head of Brand and Marketing on the development roadmap, work collaboratively with the Digital Specialist on user experience, manage UAT testing in conjunction with IT, and prioritise change management and release cycles. Balancing both BAU and project work, they ensure that all application changes are well understood, effectively communicated, and contribute to business efficiency. Their role requires deep application knowledge to assess and implement logical, value-driven enhancements.
Location: NZ Support Office & DC (1 Carmont Place, Mount Wellington, Auckland 1060)
Hours: 40 hours, Monday - Friday
What weâre looking for:
- 4-5 years secondary schooling, with tertiary certification or diploma in relevant discipline
- 2-3 years of working within a technology function providing secondary level support
- Proven ability in taking responsibility, initiating activities, prioritising and delivering successful outcomes on time and within agreed budgets
- Results driven but with innate understanding of the drivers of success, and a strong focus on delivering through the right behaviours.
- Experience in supply chain and logistics industry is desirable
- Curiosity to investigate issues, challenges and identify the root cause
- A process thinker that considers upstream and downstream consequences of change
- Facilitation skills to bring together different perspectives on system-based challenges and devise a course of action
- Experience of reviewing, mapping and improving existing and new processes
- Knowledge and experience with ERP systems, preferable Microsoft Dynamics 365 suit
