Mercier Consultancy is searching for a dedicated Portuguese Speaking Customer Service Representative to join our Public Transport Services Department for one of our clients. In this vital Entry Level role, you will provide exceptional support to our Portuguese-speaking clients, assisting them with inquiries related to public transportation services and helping them navigate our offerings with ease.
Your fluency in Portuguese will be essential in ensuring clear communication with customers, enabling you to handle questions about schedules, ticketing, routes, and any service-related issues. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in enhancing customer experience and promoting the usage of our public transport services.
Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries in Portuguese through phone, email, and chat regarding public transport services
- Assist customers with ticket purchases, service queries, and route information
- Provide solutions to customer concerns and service interruptions in a timely manner
- Document customer interactions accurately in our CRM system
- Work collaboratively with operational teams to resolve complex inquiries and improve service delivery
- Gather customer feedback to inform service enhancements
- Stay informed about public transport regulations and service updates
- Fluency in Portuguese and English, with excellent communication skills
- Strong customer service orientation and a proactive problem-solving approach
- Previous experience in customer service, ideally in public transport or related fields, is preferred
- Ability to manage multiple inquiries efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Genuine interest in public transport and serving the community
- Experience with customer support software and CRM systems is advantageous
