About this Role:
As our Physician Assistant, youâll guide patients through every step of their endoscopic weight loss journey all via our telehealth platform, from pre-procedure consultations to post-procedure follow-ups. This is a fully remote role operating on West Coast hours (8 amâ5 pm PT), Tuesday through Friday full-time with a half-day on Saturday. With Sundays and Mondays off, youâll enjoy 2.5 days of rest each week while maintaining a 40-hour schedule.
Provide pre-procedure consultations and help assess candidacy for endoscopic weight loss procedures
Conduct medical clearances, including patient assessments, histories, and physical exams
Prescribe and manage medications and treatment plans as needed
Deliver post-procedure follow-up care, including triaging clinical concerns and managing recovery
Participate in the remote on-call pool for patient needs, with additional compensation
Maintain thorough and accurate documentation using our electronic health record (EHR) system
Support our Patient Navigators and Product team with insights to improve the app and patient experience
What Weâre Looking For:
5+ years of experience as a NP or PA, including 2+ years in a surgical setting (e.g., general surgery, bariatric surgery, or ICU)
Active NP or PA license in at least one U.S. state
Strong clinical and interpersonal skills
Entrepreneurial mindset and comfort working in a fast-paced startup environment
Genuine passion for improving the lives of people with obesity
Willingness to work a TuesdayâSaturday schedule (with Saturdays as a half day) and participate in the remote on-call pool (with additional compensation).
Experience with both inpatient and outpatient settings is a plus
Spanish fluency is a strong plus.
