L3 Systems Escalation Engineer (100% Remote- 2nd/3rd shifts- Windows, Linux, VMWare) Optomi, in partnership with an industry leader is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to join their team. This person will serve as a senior level escalation point for Systems and Operations teams. This engineer will work second/third shift hours/days on a remote schedule. Responsibilities: ? Troubleshoot various Windows and Linux servers and OS issues ? Help to virtualize an environment with VMWare ? Serve as escalation point with L1 and L2 teams ? Utilize PowerShell and Ansible commands for automation ? Work on a second and third shift schedule with a 24/7 team ? Perform various project and operations work- network troubleshooting, monitoring, patching, upgrading servers, migrating versions of OS, etc. Apply today if your background includes: ?
