Responsibilities:
- Catalog Management:
- Audit Amazon product listings regularly for accuracy, completeness, and consistency, ensuring proper titles, descriptions, images, and categorization.
- Proactively identify and resolve errors or inconsistencies in catalog listings.
- Open and manage support cases with Amazon to address issues such as incorrect product details, ASIN merges, or suppressed listings.
- Data Integrity & Updates:
- Ensure all catalog data is accurate and up-to-date, including product attributes, keywords, and specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and upload new or updated product information, such as images, variations, and descriptions.
- Regularly update and refresh listings to reflect the latest branding and product positioning.
- Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution:
- Act as the primary point of contact for resolving catalog-related issues, such as suppressed listings, listing errors, and image compliance issues.
- Conduct root-cause analyses of catalog problems and implement sustainable solutions to prevent recurrence.
- Document recurring catalog issues and propose improvements to enhance catalog health and performance.
- Image & Content Management:
- Manage product images to ensure all visuals comply with Amazonâs guidelines and represent the brand accurately.
- Update and optimize images as necessary, coordinating with the creative team to generate new or modified product photos.
- Contribute to A+ Content and Enhanced Brand Content initiatives to increase customer engagement and improve conversion rates.
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
- Track and analyze catalog health metrics, such as suppressed listings, missing information, and duplicate listings.
- Provide regular reports on catalog status, issue resolution progress, and any emerging trends in errors or discrepancies.
- Offer insights into catalog performance and suggest strategies to improve listing quality and visibility.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience managing Amazon product listings, preferably in an e-commerce or retail environment.
- Proven track record in catalog management, data integrity, and troubleshooting product listing issues.
- Strong proficiency in Amazon Seller Central and other e-commerce platforms.
- Familiarity with Amazonâs content guidelines, A+ Content, and Enhanced Brand Content.
- Experience with data management tools and catalog management systems.
- Solid understanding of Amazonâs SEO best practices for product listings and content optimization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools for tracking and reporting catalog health.
- Strong analytical abilities with the capability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve catalog-related issues effectively.
- Ability to conduct root-cause analysis and implement sustainable solutions.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail when maintaining and updating product listings, images, and catalog data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including creative, marketing, and product teams.
