In this role, the Assistant will take on a myriad of tasks that include but not limited to:-Monitoring filing deadlines noted on docket reports for all US and foreign patent applications; assisting with reviewing/clearing of docket and communicates details to Docketing-Assisting with the preparation and filing of patent applications and related documents with the USPTO, and ensuring legal documents are processed in a timely and efficient manner complying with the firm’s quality control requirements and USPTO regulations and deadlines-Assisting with the preparation and filing of post-grant proceeding documents-Assisting in the preparation of PCT applications and correspondence to foreign associates.-Preparing routine correspondence for attorney/paralegal; creating reporting letters and legal documents utilizing in-house software/database toolThe successful candidate will have previous proven experience with patent prosecution support as well as proficiency with MS Office, IPDAS, CPi and iManage.
