The Role As a Payroll Operations Analyst, you'll be at the forefront of our mission, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of multi-state payroll processing. Key Responsibilities Accurately process multi-state, semi-monthly US Payroll and monthly Canada Payroll, including ad-hoc and equity runs. Maintain precise payroll records for statutory compliance and document payroll SOPs. Collaborate on the review and reconciliation of local, state, and federal taxes, ensuring compliance with payroll tax regulations. Assist in annual audits, including 401k, Workers Comp, and W2s. Research, analyze, and resolve payroll discrepancies. Act as the point of contact for US employee inquiries, responding promptly to questions and requests. Identify and drive process improvements and optimizations in payroll workflows. What We Value Experience with Workday, ADP WorkforceNow, and Safeguard is a plus. Ability to work independently and as part of a team with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask in a dynamic environment. What We Require 3-5 years of direct experience processing full-cycle, in-house US payroll, with multi-state experience being a plus. Experience processing complex, high-volume equity transactions (NSO, RSU, ISO, ESPP) with multi-jurisdiction sourcing. Strong knowledge of tax and wage laws. Proficiency in MS Excel, including advanced formulas functions (Vlookups, Pivot tables, IF statements).
